BIOME

A biome is a set of ecosystems that share similar characteristics within their abiotic factors and adapted to their environments.

There are no fixed amount of biomes in the world some say there are 5 major types of biomes in the world.

​

1. Aquatic

2. Desert

3. Forest

4. Grassland

5. Tundra

While other divide the Biomes even further based on it's characteristics. Forest biomes  can be separated into Rainforest, Temperate Forest, Chaparral etc. and Grasslands can be separated into the Savanna and Temperate Grasslands.
